Strictly Come Dancing

As you have probably gathered, I LOVE Strictly! So I was very excited the day I received an invitation to attend the live show.

When the day came, my boyfriend Andy and I drove down to the BBC studios to cheer on Mark Foster, fellow swimmer and my team mate from Beijing.  I was surprised when we first arrived on set as it was far smaller than I had imagined, with everyone squeezed in together and only a few feet away from the dancers but it made for a great atmosphere.  It was great to see Foz live on the show and the buzz in the studio was simply amazing!

I was invited to Strictly again in late November. My sister, Chloe, and I went along and loved every minute of it, even though Mark had sadly been eliminated a few weeks before. The staff on the show made us feel very welcome, we got to meet lots of celebrity supporters and Bruce and Tess were especially lovely.

I can't wait for the next series!
